Volunteering with Street Child in Uganda is both challenging and rewarding. We are offering proactive and motivated individuals a unique opportunity to assist us setting up operations in yet another country. This placement is a unique opportunity to take a front line role in supporting to launch new programmes, and make a lasting and critical contribution to Street Child's work. 


Major Grants Volunteer We are recruiting volunteers to drive research into new funding streams and spearhead grant applications to help provide critical funding for our child refugee education projects.

Projects Volunteer Projects volunteers are needed on the ground in Kampala to provide assistance on the ongoing projects of our partner organisations, as well as support day to day work on development of Street Child's future Uganda programmes.

Enterprise Volunteer Street Child is looking for volunteers with skills in business, who would like to gain valuable experience in the development sector by helping to set up a social enterprise in Uganda to support our ongoing projects. 

Communications Volunteer Individuals with experience in communications are needed to support our partner organisations and UK head office to contribute to our internal and external communications. Key responsibilities will include collating case studies, building the visual media library and helping to train our local teams.

Dissertation Research Role Street Child is seeking applications from students hoping to do a primary or secondary research as part of their university degrees . This is a short-term placement for those looking to explore the scope of their own dissertation projects.
